Review : Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass 70'S by Fender

I have played many electric bass guitar and found a lot of basses in my time with 20 years experience .

The Squier Vintage Modified Jazz bass 70'S is definitely and good one of my top favorites bass.
This one has a very clean and brigth sound that is both looks and sounds great.

I plugged this into a 300 watt Mark Bass rig and was floored by how good this bass sounds.
Crystal highs and booming lows. There was no loss of the bass or distortion when I cranked it up.
It was easy to change tones by adjusting the volume controls and rolling off the tone a bit.

It also sounds amazing for jazz and rock! It's got a very deep sound.

If you are like Jazz bass style ,I think this bass is fantastic and worth the money .

Price : $274.99

"Nice style Vintage Bass and Nice for the Price!"

Regarding hardware It's hardware and pickups are very good quality, and the 3-piece body is seamless.

Product Features

Soft Maple body with gloss polyurethane finish
Maple neck with 9.5 in radius maple fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets and black block inlays
2 Duncan Designed(TM) JB101 Single-Coil Jazz Bass® Pickups with AlNiCo 5 Magnets
Standard 4 Saddle Bridge
Master tone with 2 volume controls

OK from above detail,The new neck is horribly bowed and has terrible buzzing above the 12th fret,
so I have to raise the action unnecessarily high. Adjusting the truss rod is a scary ordeal.
I'm afraid to adjust it too tight - the neck feels so flimsy and The neck is more comfortable than anything I have ever played.

Finally,Do yourself a favor and check this bass out. Even though it's a Squier Jazz Bass, it has become your number one bass and would be devastated if something happened to it.
